Hi Everyone

If there is anyone? From time to time I check this website to see if anything has been added but very little ever is. I think it is very sad that someone went to the trouble of setting it up and it never gets used. So if you are like me and you check to see if anything goes on here why not login and have a say. Maybe the website might get off the ground and come to life!

My name is Col, G,day to any and all

Mixed breed ducks

We have some pretty coloured mixed breed ducks for sale. They are young, well handled and quiet. Great as a kid's pet, keep pests down in the garden (they do less damage than chooks), and to provide fresh eggs - duck eggs are very similar to chicken eggs but a little larger and creamier - great for cooking, beautiful in omeletes, quiches, etc. They don't need much water - I use a small children's wading pool. Mainly ducks left, only 1 drake left.

$5 each or buy 2 ducks and 1 drake for $12.

A small but friendly, helpful garden forum. A good place to connect to other Aussie gardeners. If you want something ID-ed or want to know something, someone might be able to help.

A good tip to use in the garden

An old pull along golf buggy and bag is ideal for moving your tools around the garden. Taller tools such as shovels, rakes and hoes, etc can be carried in the bag while smaller items like secateurs, hand tools, twine, etc can be stored in the outside pockets. The bag even has a ring to hang an old towel on to wipe your hands. When finished with the gardening, just wheel it back to the shed.

Announcing the new Built-in Orderly Organized Knowledge device, otherwise known as the BOOK.

It's a revolutionary breakthrough in technology: no wires, no electric circuits, no batteries, nothing to be connected or switched on. It's so easy to use even a child can operate it. Just lift its cover. Compact and portable, it can be used anywhere -- even sitting in an armchair by the fire -- yet it is powerful enough to hold ass much information as a CD-ROM disk.

Here's how it works: each ...

We live on small acreage and love gardening. We particularly like tropical/sub-tropical style gardens and plants, and we try to grow many of our own fruit and vegetables... success seems to depend on pests - insect as well as pets and kids, drought, storms, etc
